You donut want to miss this first HSF incentive day!

Thursday, November 5th, is National Donut Day and we’re partnering with hsdalumni_or owned Tigard Donut! Donate $10 or more on 11/5 and you’ll get a voucher for a free donut from Tigard Donut!

Is it a little far from Hillsboro? Yes.
Is it 100000% worth it? Also yes.

Visit giveguide.org/nonprofits/hillsboro-schools-foundation to learn more and plan your year-end giving.

Pro-tip: If you make multiple $10+ donations over the next two months, you can get multiple incentives! 👀 For example, if you have $100 to donate, you can give $10 ten times to get ten different incentives or raffle entries (depending on what days you give).

It’s for the kids!

Wednesday November 4th, is Give!Guide’s first Big Give Day and it’s Big Golf Day at Topgolf Hillsboro!

Topgolf graciously donated a two-bay package for up to twelve people, including 2 hours of gameplay, food, and non-alcoholic beverages!
(Alcoholic beverages and gratuity are not included, so be prepared to cover those if you win this package!)

So, naturally, we had lunch and golf there to support them, film this, and call it “team building”. 😂 It really was though.

Donation(s) of $10 or more on 11/4 will automatically enter you into the raffle for this prize!

It’s “fore” the kids!

Fun fact: Our Marketing & Development Coordinator, Jean, also works at Topgolf as a Bayhost a day or so a week! If you see her there, make sure to say hi!

The Give!Guide (G!G) vault opens November 1st!

When you’re considering your year-end giving, Give!Guide is a great way to make an impact AND get a little something in return. Check out our HSF-specific incentive dates and the Willamette Week Give!Guide Big Give Days for chances to get more from your donation(s).

Why give to Hillsboro Schools Foundation (HSF)?

HSF is a 501(C)(3) non-profit that supports the Hillsboro School District. We help bridge the gap between state funding and programs, opportunities, and resources that help kids stay engaged. Since it’s founding in 2000, HSF has given almost $7 Million to support students and educators in the district. HSF was instrumental in bringing shop classes back to HSD to middle schools, expansion of school gardens, career exploration kits and labs, craft and theatre programs, and so much more.

Your 2026 G!G donations will help fund our current Creating Engaging Opportunities (C.E.O) initiative, which provides funding to each elementary and middle school in the district for after school extra-curricular activities. Schools can choose what types of programs they offer based on the requests of the student population and we’re so excited to see what they choose!
