MBI is dedicated to assessing important environmental and natural resource issues, including water quality and the protection and restoration of biodiversity u

tilizing biological indicators using the best scientific methods and practices available. We are nationally recognized for our pioneering research methods that produce credible data, and, since 1997 we have amassed a significant body of research that helps to advance the understanding of critical habitats, species and environmental management practices.

What a great way to celebrate Earth Day! MBI took a little field trip to Calamus Swamp, a private preserve in Pickaway County owned by Columbus Audubon. We learned about the preserve's history as well as its ongoing restoration project.
