BigTime is honored to share the stage with the Atlanta Rhythm Section for two shows at the Pittsboro Roadhouse on Sunday, October 6th at 4pm and 7:30pm. However, we are equally honored to be a part of this special event that is a fundraiser for a worthwhile charity. The Britt Balser Foundation for TTP is a Nationally recognized 501(c)(3) charity named after Britt Balser who lost her life at 12 years old following a 4-week fight with the disease TTP (Thrombotic Thrombocytopenic Purpura). TTP is a rare blood disorder in which blood clots form in small blood vessels throughout the body. The clots can limit or block the flow of oxygen-rich blood to the body's organs such as the brain, kidneys, and heart. The Britt Balser Foundation for TTP is a public charity dedicated to raising funds to work with doctors and medical centers around the United States who are actively using their medical knowledge, and their resources to find a better cure for this TTP. So, as you purchase your tickets to see ARS at the Pittsboro Roadhouse, know that your hard earned money is going towards a very important cause.
