Located in the Ramapo Mountains, Rockland County, New York, TevaLand Sanctuary Farm began as a small sustainable homestead on a woodland property. Every fence and many structures on the farm were constructed by volunteers on a privately funded “shoestring” budget, primarily using recycled and salvaged materials. This passion and dedication served to transform an idyllic mountaintop location into a
safe haven for mistreated, neglected, or abandoned farm animals. Today, TevaLand Sanctuary Farm offers a variety of educational programs which encourage participants to both heal and be nurtured by nature via a mutually beneficial, hands-on, therapeutic process. TevaLand Sanctuary Farm provides opportunities for participants to take an active part in the rehabilitation of rescued animals. Through helping animals achieve calm and balance, people come to discover their own capacity for love, kindness, compassion, and inner-peace. TevaLand Sanctuary Educational Programs can be customized for any event, age, level or curriculum. To learn more or to make a reservation request email: [email protected]
