💡 TIP TUESDAY: Make your silent auction donation work for your business AND your community!
When a local charity asks your business to contribute an auction item, think beyond a gift card. Create an experience that introduces the winner to what you do best!

🎁 A restaurant could offer a dinner package.
🧖‍♀️ A salon could create a self-care basket.
🏡 A home service business could donate a consultation or service.
🛍️ A retailer could put together a collection of customer favorites.

Be sure to include your business name and contact information, and clearly state any expiration dates or restrictions. A display card explaining what’s included can help bidders see the value, too!

It’s a great way to support a local cause while introducing your business to potential new customers. 💙

Business owners: What’s your favorite item or experience to donate? 👇

🍂 TIP TUESDAY | DON'T LET FALL SNEAK UP ON YOUR BUSINESS! 🍁
The temperatures may still be making up their minds here in Southeast Texas, but the holiday shopping season is right around the corner!

Here's your fall business tip from the Greater Highlands Chamber of Commerce:
🍁 Get on your customers' calendars NOW!

Between Halloween, Thanksgiving, school activities, and holiday celebrations, the next few months fill up fast.

If your business offers holiday services, seasonal products, catering, gifts, or special events, don't wait until November to start talking about them!

📣 Update your business hours, share your seasonal offerings, and give customers a reason to shop local before their calendars (and budgets!) are spoken for.

💙 And to our Highlands community: Before you click that checkout button with a national retailer, see if one of our local businesses can help you find what you need!

A little planning now can make a big difference for our local businesses this holiday season.

👇 Business owners, what are you looking forward to most this fall?
