🚨 BIG NEWS: Expanding Our Reach Across Utah! 🚨

We have been teasing that exciting things were in the works, and today we can finally share the news! Cards for Kindness is officially expanding our mission through two incredible new partnerships:

🤝 United Way of Utah County
🤝 The Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Salt Lake – Tooele Club

By joining forces with these amazing organizations, we are able to bring the joy of the hobby to even more youth, teens, and community programs across the state. The best part? These partnerships allow us to get trading cards directly into the hands of kids who need a smile, completely bypassing the medical clean room restrictions we sometimes face at hospitals!

They join our wonderful existing network, including the YWCA of Utah, the Ronald McDonald House, and The Birthday Box Foundation.

How You Can Help Us Fuel This Growth:
With more kids to serve, our need for card donations has grown overnight! We are collecting all types of cards (sports, TCG, bulk, or sealed), but our newest members have an urgent request for Pokémon and One Piece cards.

Quick Update from Cards for Kindness! 🃏📦

We wanted to drop a quick update to our amazing community: We are still hard at work pushing out packs and delivering care packages every single month!

Thanks to your continued support, our deliveries to the YWCA of Utah and the Ronald McDonald House are going strong. We are also thrilled to share that we are now making donations to The Birthday Box Foundation, and we have several other exciting partnerships currently in the mix!

We also want to be transparent about some of the hurdles we are navigating. It has been incredibly difficult to get physical donations directly into hospitals recently due to strict clean room requirements.

Please know that we are actively working on alternative ways to help and support these children, ensuring we can still bring them joy and encouragement even if physical cards cannot be given to them during their stay.

We are STILL accepting donations!

We will gladly take all types of cards—sports, TCG, bulk, or sealed packs—but we currently have a massive need for Pokémon and One Piece cards to meet the specific requests of the teens and kids we serve.

For a child in a hospital bed or a teen facing a crisis, a pack of trading cards is so much more than a hobby. It’s a moment of joy, a much-needed distraction, and a way to feel like a "normal kid" again.

At Cards for Kindness, our mission is to provide that emotional support to youth in crisis through the simple power of sports and trading card donations.

Thanks to our incredible community, we’ve officially partnered with the YWCA of Utah and the Ronald McDonald House to provide monthly card care packages. To keep these deliveries consistent, we have launched a financial fundraiser to help cover:

We are beyond honored to announce that Cards for Kindness has officially partnered with the YWCA of Utah and the Ronald McDonald House! 🤝✨

A quick and honest update from the Cards for Kindness team 💙

We want to be completely open with all of you today. Building this non-profit from the ground up has been an incredible journey, but right now, we’ve hit a bit of a roadblock.

We are currently struggling to raise the necessary funds through our kickoff fundraiser to get things officially moving.
These funds are absolutely vital to our mission—they are what allow us to continue packaging and delivering cards to kids in hospitals, youth facilities, and foster programs who need a reason to smile.

We are asking so kindly: if you believe in what we’re doing, please consider sharing our fundraiser with your friends, family, and anyone else who might want to support our cause. Even if you aren’t in a position to donate yourself, simply sharing our story and spreading the word makes a massive difference for us.

We are beyond excited to announce that Cards for Kindness is officially partnering with Croma TCG in Lehi! 🤝

Starting today, you can find a permanent Cards for Kindness donation box right inside their shop. If you have extra sports or TCG cards you'd like to donate to youth in hospitals and foster programs, you can now drop them off directly at Croma!

But that's not all—while you're dropping off your donations, be sure to browse the store. Croma TCG carries a MASSIVE stock of TCG products at all times. Whether you're looking to rip the newest sets, hunt for singles, or grab some supplies, their inventory is unmatched.

🚨 QUICK UPDATE: LEHI CARD SHOW CANCELED 🚨

Bummer news for this weekend, Utah collectors! We were just informed that the Lehi Card Show has been canceled at the last minute.

We know many of you spent the week packing up your unwanted Sports and TCG cards to bring to our donation bins there, and we are so bummed we won't get to connect with you in Lehi!

But don't unpack those boxes just yet! 📦💨

You can STILL drop off your bulk donations this weekend at our partner location, Splash Cards Utah (located right inside the Layton Hills Mall), during their weekend card show!

Can't make it up to Layton this weekend? No worries at all! Splash Cards Utah is one of our permanent drop-off partners, meaning you can bring your donations to their shop anytime after the show wraps up, too.

Thank you all so much for your patience, your flexibility, and your continued support in helping us build "Kindness Packs" for local youth in crisis. We truly have the best community! ❤️🃏

The response from the hobby has been so incredible that we currently have thousands of Kindness Packs built, team-paced, and ready to be donated!

Our mission is to get these cards into the hands of youth who need a reason to smile, but we need YOUR help to find new locations.

We are looking for recommendations for:

• 🏥 Children’s Hospitals or specialized clinics.

• 🏠 Foster care programs and transition homes.

• 🛡️ Police Departments (for officers to keep in their cars for kids in crisis).

• 🎒 Underprivileged youth centers or after-school programs.
