Pakistani American Community Of Long Island PACOLI was formed to represent Pakistani American Community in local government.

PACOLI aims and plan to work diligently to build the bridges between Pakistani American Community and mainstream politics of USA. PACOLI strives to enhance the identity for the Pakistani American and encourage the community to get involved in local political process and help them to promote the image and interest of the Pakistan as well as USA. PACOLI shall promote the Pakistani Arts, Culture, Music, Language and Traditions through Seminars, Conferences, Exhibition, Parades and Festivals.

🇵🇰🇺🇸 PACOLI Makes History in Suffolk County! 🇵🇰🇺🇸

What an incredible and historic celebration! PACOLI’s first-ever Pakistan Independence Day Mela in Suffolk County on August 23 brought together thousands of Pakistani Americans for an unforgettable evening of unity, culture, music and patriotism.

A heartfelt thank you to our Founder Bashir Qamar, President Atiq Qadri, Vice President Jamal Zafar, General Secretary Shahid Ranjha, Senior VP Humayun Safdar, PRO Chaudhry Faisal Mahmood, and the entire PACOLI team for their tireless dedication.

Special thanks to our legendary and talented artists Javed Sheikh, Arifa Siddiqui, Farah Anwar, Mohsin Shaukat Ali, and Abu Muhammad Qawwali Group for making the evening truly spectacular.

The overwhelming turnout exceeded expectations, with the park reaching capacity and many attendees unfortunately unable to enter.

نیویارک ( آواز رپورٹ) پاکستان کے یوم آزادی کے حوالے سے امریکہ بھر میں مختلف شہروں میں بڑی تعداد میں تقریبات، میلے، پریڈیں منعقد ہورہے ہیں۔ نیویارک میں بھی متعدد پروگرامز منعقد ہوچکے ہیں۔ لانگ آئیلنڈکی دونوں کاؤنٹیز ناسا اور سفوک میں بھی جشن آزادی کی تقریبات منعقد ہوئیں۔ ایسا ہی ایک یادگاراور تاریخی میلہ گزشتہ اتوار( 23 اگست) کو سفوک کاؤنٹی میں منعقد ہوا۔پاکستانی امریکن کمیونٹی آف لانگ آئیلنڈ کے زیراہتمام بھرپور میلے میں ہزاروں افراد شریک ہوئے۔ بشیر قمر کی قےادت میں عتیق قادری، جمال ظفر۔ شاہد رانجھا، ہمائیوں صفدر، چوہدری فیصل محمود کی انتھک جدوجہد اور محنت نے میلہ کو کامیاب تر بنادیا۔ جاوید شیخ اور عارفہ صدیقی جیسے لیجنڈری فنکاروب کے ہمراہ آزادی کا جشن منایا۔ جبکہ معروف گلوکاروں فرح انور اور محسن شوکت علی کی موسیقی سے دل جیت لیے۔ ربیع الاول کے حوالے سے ابو محمد قوال گروپ کی قوالیوں نے اختتام پر سماں باندھ دیا۔جاوید شیخ نے ٹیم پاکولی کے ہمراہ قومی پرچم تھام کے ملی نغمے گائے اور شرکاء تمام وقت ان کے ساتھ جھومتے گاتے رہے۔جاوید شیخ نے پاکولی کو مبارکباد دیتے ہوئے کہا کہ اس قدر شاندار میلہ منعقد کرنے پر وہ مبارکباد کے مستحق ہیں۔اس موقع پر اعلی کارکردگی کے حامل افراد کو سائیٹیشنز اور ایوارڈز دئے گئے۔بشیر قمر ، عتیق قادری اور جمال ظفر نے شرکاء کو ویلکم کیا۔اہالیان سفوک کاؤنٹی میں جنگل میں منگل منانے پر ٹیم پاکولی کو زبردست خراج تحسین پیش کیا۔میلے کی خاص بات یہ تھی کہ منتظمین کی توقعات کے برخلاف لوگوں کی بڑی تعداد شریک ہوئے۔ ایک اندازے کے مطابق جتنے لوگ شریک ہوئے لگ بھگ اتنے ہی لوگوں کو واپس جانا پڑا۔ پولیس نے معذرت کرتے ہوئے گنجائش سے زیادہ افرادکے پیش نظر راستے سے ہی واپس بھیج دیا۔پارکنگ کا بھی مسئلہ ہوا کہ کسی کے وہم و گمان میں بھی نہ تھا کہ اس قدر لوگ آئیں گے۔میلے کے دوران بڑی تعداد میں کھانے پینے اور ملبوسات اور جیولری کے سٹالزلگائے گئے تھے جن میں تمام وقت لوگوں کا رش رہا۔لوگوں کی بھرپور شرکت کا اندازہ اس بات سے لگایا جاسکتا ہے کہ فوڈ سٹالز پر کھانے پینے کی اشیاء ختم ہوچکی تھیں۔پاکولی کے صدر عتیق قادری کا کہنا تھا کہ آج پہلی مرتبہ پاکولی نے سفوک کاؤنٹی میں جشن آزادی کا میلہ سجایا ہے جس میں لوگ جوق درجوق شریک ہوئے،ٹاؤن آف ہنگٹنگٹن نے ہم سے مکمل تعاون کیا۔لوگ دوردراز سے تشریف لائے تھے۔پاکولی کے نائب صدر جمال ظفر نے کہا کہ جشن آزادی میلہ غیر معمولی طور پر شاندار اور لوگوں کی شرکت کے اعتبار سے حیران کن رہا۔ظفر جمال کے مطابق 10 ہزار سے زائد لوگوں نے شرکت کی۔فوڈ سٹالز والوں کے کھانے ختم ہوگئے۔ لوگ میوزک اورملی نغموں سے لطف اندوز ہورہے ہیں۔پاکولی کے جنرل سیکریٹری شاہد رانجھا نے کہا کہ لوگوں نے آج کے میلہ کو کامیاب بنایا جو دوردراز سے گروپس کی شکل میں آئے تھے۔سینئیر نائب صدر ہمائیوں صفدر نے کہا کہ پاکولی نے پہلی بار سفوک کاؤنٹی میں کامیاب میلہ منعقد کرکے کمال کردیا ہے۔پبلک ریلشن آفیسر چوہدری فیصل محمود نے کہا کہ پاکولی کا میلہ تاریخی فیملی ایونٹ ثابت ہوا۔گنجائش سے زیادہ لوگوں کے آنے کی وجہ سے بیشتر افراد کو واپس جانا پڑا۔ میلہ کے منتظمین نے اپنے بانی اور پاکولی کے بانی بشیر قمر کو خراج تحسین پیش کیا۔

PACOLI and its entire team are deeply saddened by the tragic loss of innocent children at PIMS Hospital in Pakistan.

We extend our heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families during this unimaginable time. May Allah Almighty grant the parents and families patience, strength, and courage to bear this greatest tragedy, and grant the departed children eternal peace.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the families. 🤲
