Foster needed!
Toodles is coming back to rescue after 4 years because of his mom's health related issues.
He is a small senior yorkie who does well with cats and dogs. He is mostly potty trained but will have accidents if you don't take him out often enough.

We will get him a health check and he needs grooming.

Dr. Barton called me this morning to let me know Bernard started bleeding inside and he was suffering.

His foster family; Lauren, Alex and Gabriel were with him as he crossed the bridge. He was very loved by them.

Thank you all for supporting this sweet boy. He didn't get a lot of time but for his last 3 months of life no doubt he felt like a puppy.

Sweet Bernard has been hospitalized since yesterday. It's so sad to see him not well. He has pancreatitis, his kidney levels are off, his heart is enlarged and they think he may have prostate cancer. The results of that won't be back for a couple of days.

This precious boy has enjoyed being free of those awful lipomas that kept him struggling to be mobile.
He needs to get well and be able to enjoy more life being able to run and play.

Please keep this sweet boy and his foster family in your thoughts and prayers.

This sweet little nugget is doing well. It's heartbreaking that the other 4 couldn't survive but I'm thankful they didn't die alone in that house. They had warmth, full tummies and love.

Need foster for 4 week old puppy. Brought in last night sick, tested negative on parvo but still should only go to a home where any dogs are fully vaccinated.

Possum is still in need of a new foster. Please know he may be a long term foster due to his ongoing skin issue.
He is fine with most dogs but does not get along with the alpha dog in his current foster home.
He is on medication and medicated baths for his skin.
Possum is approx 5 years old. He is a very sweet boy.

As you can see in the last picture his skin has healed quite a bit but still has a long way to go.

We got this little nugget in a few days ago. Dr. Amy closed his eyelid with sutures to try to save that eye which is ulcerated. The other eye will be removed next week. Poor nugget also has ringworm.

I have a sad update. The kittens were so fragile from being malnourished and sadly 4 have passed away. The little orange one is still hanging on.

We got 5 malnourished kittens in today. They were found in a house by a kind man who went to do work on the house. Somehow they were locked in there with no mama. The one in the video we were sure was not going to make but Dr. Amy and Cierra at Oregon Trail Vet didn't give up on her and look, she's a little miracle. They are so fragile. They've clearly been without mom for a few day's.

Thank you to Corey for reaching out for help when you found them in there. Thank you to Donna for going to get them and get them to the clinic. Because of you two they were able to be saved.

Thank you everyone at Oregon Trail Veterinary Clinic for all you do for the rescue babies.

We desperately need more bottle feeders.

Foster Found!

Zeus, through no fault of his own is looking for foster again. He is such a sweet boy who loves people. The foster he is at now is going back to work and can't keep him.

He is 10 pounds, potty trained, a little scared of big dogs, loves to be held. He still has hind end weakness from being ran over. Needs rest and healing time.

Please only offer to foster if you can commit to keeping him until adoption.
