Join the BKA Adoptee community of the Seacost (NH, MA, Maine) in this participatory cultural program is designed to help Korean adoptees connect with Korean heritage by preparing Japchae, one of Korea’s best-known traditional celebration dishes! Link in bio to register !! 🎫
Participants learn about the dish’s history and meaning, Korean holidays, family traditions, and dining customs while taking part in the entire cooking process. The workshop ends with a shared meal and a welcoming conversation about Korean food, identity, and personal experiences.

With Minji Park | Korean Language and Cultural Teacher
Minji Park is the founder of IDOH Korean Language & Culture and teaches Korean language and culture throughout New England. Since 2024, she has served more than 400 participants through Korean language classes, cultural programs, and cooking workshops. Her work focuses on creating practical and welcoming experiences where participants can build meaningful connections with Korean culture.
This event will be held at a community kitchen in Portsmouth, NH!
