Winter is fast approaching here in New Hampshire, and the Locke's Promise team has been busy bringing relief to our recent grant applicants before the snow flies.

We were thrilled to connect with Trinidad and step in to assist with the down payment for his new patio. While we can’t always cover the full cost of every project, our goal is to bridge the financial gap and make these quality-of-life expenses a reality for the community we support.

📆 Mark your calendars... our Rides & Wranglers for MS event has been growing every year and in 2027 things are exploding.

We are moving the event date and heating summer up with a festival weekend like no other. That's right a whole weekend of activities to pick from.

Keeping families together, safe, and at home. 🧡

When mobility challenges arise, the fear of losing independence or having to leave home can be overwhelming for both patients and their caregivers. Recently, we had the honor of providing a stair lift for William, who battles severe progressive Multiple Sclerosis, and his wife and caregiver, Jennifer.

Here is what Jennifer had to say about the impact:

Not all disabilities are visible.

Invisible disabilities are conditions that aren’t immediately apparent but can significantly affect daily life. They can include mental health conditions, neurodivergence, chronic illnesses, autoimmune disorders, chronic pain, neurological conditions, sensory impairments, and learning disabilities.

You shouldn’t have to see someone’s struggle to believe it’s real.

Respect their needs. Be kind. 💜🧡

Second event of the day in the books. It was a chilly 35 degrees... but we stood with the National Multiple Sclerosis Society and raised MS awareness at New England College Field Hockey game tonight.

Of course Promise the Unicorn was there!

Today, we’re celebrating a moment that reminds us exactly why Locke’s Promise exists.

One of our recent recipients shared this powerful update — almost a year since they were able to safely get downstairs without calling 911 or ending up in the ER. With their new mobility chair, they’re not just accessing the sunporch with a therapist’s help… they’re seeing endless possibilities again.
