The Henniker Area Rotary Club

10/22/2026

This morning we had the pleasure of having District Governor Elect, Lou Louis Botta join us and speak about rotary membership, the food insecure situation happening in NH and how to make an impact in our communities.

It's speakers like Lou that get us fired up about being the best version of a club we can be.

🍂 Saturday Morning Community Cleanup! 🍂

This past Saturday morning, the Henniker Area Rotary Club held our semi-annual highway cleanup along Route 114, from Flanders Road to the transfer station.

We had some incredible extra help this year! More than 20+ students and parents from Hillsboro-Deering DECA and John Stark DECA came out bright and early to lend a hand and help clean up our community.

A HUGE thank you to all of the students, parents, and Rotary members who gave up part of their Saturday morning to help. With so many helping hands, we were able to cover a lot of ground and make a noticeable difference along Route 114!

We truly appreciate these young people stepping up and giving back to their community. 💙 Thank You

Many hands make light work! John Stark Regional High School

Today's guest speaker was Jeff Deerborn. He shared with us how he made money his entire life by being versatile and exploring new ventures. He had some great words of wisdom of working for yourself. He evolved the way he worked and what he did as things and times evolved. A very interesting man! You too can enjoy speakers like this. Join us.

Henniker Area Rotary Post Draft
A huge thank you to Owen Bober for joining us at this morning’s Henniker Area Rotary meeting!

Owen stopped by to share his recent experience at RYLA (Rotary Youth Leadership Awards), and it is safe to say we were all incredibly impressed by his drive. He is an outstanding, motivated young man who somehow finds the time to balance a packed schedule—including DECA, baseball, scouts and several other extracurriculars—with a genuine passion for community service.

What’s truly inspiring is his current major initiative: Owen is working hard to establish a brand-new Interact Club at Hillsboro-Deering High School. Bringing Rotary’s mission of "Service Above Self" to the students at HDHS is a fantastic goal, and we are absolutely thrilled to support him as he gets this off the ground.
Thank you for inspiring us this morning, Owen! The future of our community is in great hands with young leaders like you. 👏✨

What a great morning for the Edmunds Cruise-In Car Show! The raffle, the food (thank you The Country Spirit), the 50/50 — all amazing. But OHHH the vehicles! Every style, every era, every personality on wheels showed up. It was our biggest turnout yet, and the variety was unreal. Thank you to everyone who came out, showed off their ride, participated, and supported the Rotary!
