The FHU Associates is a women's organization whose members know the value of Christian education.

The FHU Associates is a women's organization whose members know the value of Christian education at Freed-Hardeman University. Members volunteer time and energy to raise money for student scholarships at FHU; more than $3 million dollars has been raised over the last 50+ years! Fun projects and lasting friendships built around a common purpose bind volunteers together. The Associates organization

is composed of chapters in different cities and states. Each chapter hosts their own fundraising events and, for large events on FHU's campus, multiple chapters come together. All ladies interested in supporting the work of FHU are invited to join the FHU Associates. Whether you are a career woman, a stay-at-home mom, retired or just joining the work force, in the Associates, you will find a way to use your talents.

To give us time to prep for the sale, the last day we will be taking donations is next Thursday, August 27. We have received an overwhelming amount of donations over the last few months and look forward to a fabulous rummage sale!

The orange lemonade is selling fast, but we also have iced and hot coffee, ice pops, and other sweet treats!! Hours are 7:30-11 a.m. and 1:30-5 p.m. now through Thursday. See you soon!! 😎

'RIZON Shine Coffee Time is returning to Brewer Sports Center TOMORROW afternoon!

What this means for you: Horizons guests and the general public are invited to stop by and pick up caffeinated drinks and snacks all week long. We'll have coffees, donuts, cold treats, snacks, and more, all at fantastic prices. Proceeds go directly to fund student scholarships at FHU!

Last Friday, we honored two very deserving ladies at our National Associates meeting.

Receiving the Heart of the Servant Award is Debbie Askew. A member of the Chester County Associates, Debbie has worked tirelessly to ensure the Rummage Sale’s success — helping behind the scenes before, during, and after the event.

Another member of the Chester County Associates, Amber Roberts, was presented the Martha J. Alls “Leap of Faith” Award. Amber has demonstrated innovative leadership, helping to raise thousands of dollars for scholarships with her “Very Own Chapel Seat” idea, and she has been instrumental in working with the Junior Associates.

Please join us in congratulating these ladies. Their hard work and dedication mean so much to the Associates and FHU!
