Chester County Senior Center Volunteers
🪡🧵 Sew Hope for Children in Tanzania
Two dedicated volunteers at the Chester County Senior Citizen Center are quietly transforming ✨️donated fabric into gifts of compassion for children thousands of miles away in Tanzania, Africa.
Seamstresses ️Cheryl Judd and Darlene Hurst have spent weeks creating 35 beautifully sewn dresses👗 in sizes 2 through 5 for orphaned and vulnerable young girls.
The project was made possible through 🫶generous donations of cotton fabric and sewing supplies.
What began as a simple project has grown into a meaningful outreach, connecting local generosity with global mission work.🎁❣️
In just a few weeks, the dresses 👗will begin their journey to Tanzania, carried by Harold and Lana Pirtle of the ⛪️Estes Church of Christ in Henderson, Tennessee, as part of their ongoing missionary efforts
Harold Pirtle reflected on the project’s impact, noting that the volunteers’ kindness will reach children across continents. “It’s incredible to see our seniors use their skills to bless these children so far away. 🌏
The Chester County Senior Center is always happy to accept Fabic donations ❤️ 💕 if you should come across any 😉 👍 👌
Thanks!!! 😊
