Giving Back to the Rodeo Community

One of the many things the Helotes Festival Association is proud to do is raise money for the Justin Cowboy Crisis Fund, an organization dedicated to helping professional rodeo athletes and their families during times of serious injury.

Each year during the Cornyval PRCA Rodeo, we “Pass the Boot” through the stands, giving our rodeo fans an opportunity to contribute. We also donate tips generously given at our beer booths throughout the event.

Thanks to the incredible support of our community, volunteers, and rodeo fans, the Helotes Festival Association has been recognized by the Justin Cowboy Crisis Fund for lifetime giving exceeding $30,000!

We are incredibly proud of this accomplishment, but the credit belongs to everyone who has dropped a dollar in the boot, left a tip at the beer booth, volunteered their time, or supported Cornyval over the years.

Together, we’re not just putting on a rodeo—we’re taking care of the rodeo family.
