Hi everyone! I want to take a moment to acknowledge the concerns some of you have expressed and some negative comments that have been conveyed about our organization in some Facebook groups. Your feelings and opinions are important to us, and we appreciate the opportunity to talk about who we are and clarify our mission.
Our mission at Project Absentis is to help law enforcement in their efforts to locate missing persons and collaborate closely with law enforcement agencies to ensure the safety and well-being of individuals in our community. We are dedicated to making a positive impact, and we have successfully assisted in locating some individuals, and in some cases bringing families back together and providing peace of mind to those in distress. We choose not to publicize our specific activities in order to safeguard the privacy of the families we assist, and to maintain the integrity of the cases we are handling with law enforcement.
We are a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that relies solely on donations to support our work. All of our team members, including myself are strictly unpaid volunteers, many of which are former law enforcement, and professionals who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of others. For more information about Project Absentis, you can visit our website at www.projectabsentis.org, where you can learn more about our work.
We encourage any questions you may have; we believe that open dialogue is essential for building trust and understanding. If you're interested, we’d love to share stories from families we've helped and the amazing volunteers who dedicate their time to our cause.
Finally, if you feel inspired to get involved, we invite you to volunteer or follow our updates. Your support and engagement mean a lot to us, and together, we can make a difference in our community.
Thank you for your understanding, and we look forward to connecting with you!
