We're in the final stretch of our "Shoe Us the Love" shoe drive, and we need your help to cross the finish line!

Our goal is 6,000 pairs of shoes by June 30, and every pair brings us closer. We're collecting all types and sizes of gently worn, used, or new shoes: sneakers, boots, dress shoes, sandals, athletic shoes, even flip flops and slippers. We want them all!

Main drop-off is at our home office (875 S State Rd 2, Hebron, IN), there's a collection box in our breezeway available anytime.

Find additional drop-off locations here: https://canva.link/w1j6qqr54taixnl

Together, we're turning closets into community impact. Thank you for partnering with us!

Recently, ECM Ghana's Family Empowerment Program held a training session focused on bookkeeping and record keeping for beneficiaries working to build sustainable businesses.

Family Empowerment Coordinators, together with Stuart and his wife Yemi (ECM missionaries), walked families through practical ways to track income, expenses, profits, and losses, skills that help turn a small business into something stable and lasting.

But this wasn't just a classroom lesson. The team worked side by side with each family, helping them set up record management systems tailored to their own businesses.

This is what investment looks like: not a one-time gift, but ongoing presence, training, and partnership that helps families plan for the future with confidence.

"The plans of the diligent lead to profit." - Proverbs 21:5

Thank you for helping families across Ghana build businesses that will outlast this season, and for helping hope take root for generations to come.

Quick update on something we are really grateful for.

When ECM launched the 100-10-1 vision, reaching 100 African communities in 10 years felt like a big step of faith. (It still is.) But God has been faithful.

10 communities have already been launched. 4 more are currently in development.

In each of those communities, children are being discipled, families are receiving practical and spiritual support, and local churches are being equipped to lead transformation from the inside out.

This is what your prayers and partnership make possible. Thank you for being part of the story!

There is still a long road ahead, and we are building it one faithful step at a time. If you want to walk with us, we would love to have you.

Thank you to everyone who's already donated shoes to our "Shoe Us the Love" drive! We're getting closer to our goal of 6,000 pairs, but we still need more!

Here's an idea: ask your neighbors, coworkers, or small group if they have old shoes to donate too. Sneakers, boots, sandals, flip flops, slippers, anything counts, and a few extra pairs from each household adds up fast!

Drive ends June 30.

Main drop-off is at our home office (875 S State Rd 2, Hebron, IN), or find additional locations here: https://canva.link/w1j6qqr54taixnl

Let's finish strong!๐Ÿ‘Ÿ๐Ÿ’™

Imagine growing up in the ECM sponsorship program. Someone believed in you enough to sponsor your education, your growth, your future. Now you've finished secondary school, and you're standing at the edge of something bigger.

That's exactly where 45 young adults in Uganda and Ghana are standing right now.

Our Next Step Scholarship Fund bridges the gap between where they are and where God is calling them to go. Whether it's university, a trade apprenticeship, or vocational training, Next Step gives them the tools, mentorship, and support to cross that bridge with confidence.

We have two deadlines ahead:
$11,359 needed by June 30th
$7,500 more needed by July 31st

These aren't just numbers. They're 45 stories still being written. Will you help write the next chapter?

Through ECM's Family Empowerment Program in Ghana, Deborah recently received essential business support items to strengthen and sustain her growing business. For Deborah, these aren't just tools for trade. They represent opportunity, stability, and a renewed sense of confidence as she looks toward the future.

With this support, she's now better positioned to expand her business, increase her income, and provide consistent care and security for her family.

This is what long-term investment looks like. Not just short-term assistance, but real resources that help families build resilience and self-reliance for the long haul. Deborah's story reminds us that when people are equipped with the right tools and opportunities, challenges can become progress, and hope can become lasting change.

Pictured alongside Deborah is Michael, Assistant Family Empowerment Coordinator, celebrating this milestone with her as she takes another step toward a more secure and empowered future.

"She sets about her work vigorously; her arms are strong for her tasks... she can laugh at the days to come." - Proverbs 31:17, 25

Thank you for helping write the next chapter of Deborah's story.

๐Ÿฉฐ๐Ÿ‘Ÿ๐Ÿ‘ก๐Ÿ‘ข๐Ÿ‘  Did you know that every pair of shoes you donate helps fund our Next Step Program, which provides university scholarships and vocational training for young adults in Uganda and Ghana?

Here's how it works: through our partnership with Funds2Orgs, ECM earns funds based on the weight of shoes collected. Those dollars go directly toward our Next Step Program.

So that bag of old shoes in your closet (sneakers, boots, sandals, even flip flops and slippers!) could help a young adult take their next step toward a future full of hope.

Drive ends June 30.

What does it look like when a family begins to find their footing?

When a mother gains new skills and starts to believe she can provide for her children? When a caregiver who once felt invisible is seen, supported, and encouraged?

ECM's Family Empowerment Program is doing just that in Uganda and Ghana. Caregivers are learning the skills they need to provide for their own families, learn business skills, and grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ.

Listen to their stories now and be encouraged!
