This week at support group, we’ll be talking about “Finding Your Voice”. We will also have a guest facilitator, Whitney! 🤩

Life experiences, trauma, unhealthy relationships & even recovery itself can sometimes leave us feeling unheard or afraid to speak up. This group is about learning to trust ourselves, express our needs & remember that our thoughts, feelings & experiences as women matter. Because finding & using your voice isn’t about being the loudest person in the room. It’s about believing that what you have to say has value. 💪🏼🫶🏼

Please join us for our free weekly Women’s Peer Support Group, a safe, welcoming space for anyone on a healing journey.

We take a holistic approach, blending evidence-based recovery tools with creative activities and supportive peer connection. Using therapeutic art, creative expression and reflection, we help women process emotions, build self-awareness, and find healing in a supportive, casual, fun & safe space. And we always have a drawing for a door prize!

This is a “come as you are” group. You dont have to talk, share, or introduce yourself. Just show up.

All women 18 and older are welcome!

🖤 Whether you’re recovering from substance use, trauma, incarceration, or simply trying to rebuild your life, you are welcome.
🛤️ We honor all recovery paths and meet you exactly where you are.
✨ Your recovery and healing can begin, or continue, right here, with people who understand.

Tonight’s support group was small, but empowering. Sometimes real change doesn’t happen in a crowded room. When women support women, we create strength, healing & opportunities that reach beyond ourselves. When one woman rises, we all rise. 🫶🏼

I know you hear me tell all of you all the time that you matter. I tell you that bc you do matter! This week’s support group we will be talking about making YOURSELF a priority. Somewhere along the way, many of us learned to take care of everyone else while putting our own needs last. Whether it’s family, work, recovery, relationships or just trying to survive day-to-day life, constantly running on empty eventually catches up with us. Making yourself a priority isn’t selfish. It’s necessary. You deserve the same care, compassion & attention that you so freely give to others.🫶🏼

A bad day doesn’t make you a bad person. You are not your worst mistake, your lowest moment or the thing you’re most ashamed of. You are a whole person with the ability to heal, grow & have a beautiful life. 🫶🏼

Don’t forget! Collin’s Creek this evening! 😊

Don’t forget! Collin’s Creek this evening! 😊

Alright, listen up all my bed-rotting girlies 😅 It’s time to get up and get OUTSIDE! 🌿🦅🌱🐢🌳🍄

For support group this week, Thursday June 4th, we are meeting up & walking Collin’s Creek Trail in JFK Park! Plan on being there around 6 pm, we will start the trail around 6:15 pm. I’ll bring some snacks & water bottles. Bring your kiddos if you want! Wear water friendly shoes, some parts require you to cross in shallow water!

Recovery isn’t just about the work we do in meetings. It’s also about learning to slow down, breathe & reconnect with ourselves & the world around us. Research shows that spending time in nature can reduce stress, improve mood, lower anxiety & help us feel more grounded. Sometimes healing looks like deep conversations and sometimes it looks like a quiet walk under the trees with people who understand. 🧘‍♀️🧘‍♀️🧘‍♀️

This week, we’re stepping away from the noise & into nature for connection, movement, fresh air & a reminder that growth takes time, just like everything else worth nurturing.
