Meet our newest tiny exception. 🐾

As a wildlife rescue, we don’t typically take in domestic animals. We are the only licensed wildlife rehabilitators in the county, which means our resources, space, time, and supplies have to stay focused on the wild babies who have nowhere else to go.

But every now and then… a little face like this shows up and reminds us that compassion doesn’t always fit neatly into categories.

This tiny orange boy needed a safe place to land, and we just couldn’t say no. He’ll be staying with us until he’s healthy, strong, and ready to find the forever home he deserves.

He may not be wildlife, but he’s still a little life that mattered enough for someone to care. 🧡

Welcome to the rescue, little guy. You’re safe now. 🐱✨

Phoenix update: his head is almost completely healed, and he has officially entered his grape AMSR era. 🍇😂

Tiny chomps, big healing, maximum possum drama. ❤️‍🔥🐾

Myrtle update — and it’s a good one.

First, thank you. Truly. Every prayer, kind word, and good vibe sent Myrtle’s way has meant so much.

For the past week, this sweet mama has been fighting with everything she has. She has been nearly comatose, and rehabber Audra has been working tirelessly to keep her alive — tube feeding her, monitoring her, supporting her, and refusing to give up on her.

And today, we finally got the update we’ve been hoping for:

Myrtle is standing.

And she’s eating on her own. 🥹

That is huge.

Myrtle still has a long road ahead, and she has babies depending on her, but this is the kind of progress we have been praying for. We also want to ask everyone to keep Audra in your prayers too. Cases like this are physically and emotionally exhausting, and she has done an absolutely incredible job giving Myrtle and her babies every possible chance.

Thank you for loving this little family with us. Please keep the prayers and good vibes coming — for Myrtle, for her babies, and for the amazing rehabber fighting right alongside them. 🐾🩷

Sometimes the smallest lives are the easiest for the world to overlook… but not here. 🤎

This baby bunny was brought inside by a dog. At first glance, it might be easy for someone to think, “It’s just a bunny.” But to us, he is a little life who deserves safety, comfort, and a chance.

Wild rabbits are fragile, easily stressed, and often misunderstood. Even when they look “okay” after being found by a dog or cat, they still need help because tiny puncture wounds and internal injuries aren’t always visible right away.

He’s warm, safe, and being cared for now — and we’re hoping this little one has the strength to keep fighting.

Their lives matter too. Every tiny heartbeat matters. 🐰🤍

Oh, sweet Myrtle. 💔

Myrtle was found in the middle of the road after being hit by a car. When she came to us, she had two bigger babies clinging tightly to her, doing exactly what baby possums do best — holding on for dear life.

But once we were able to examine her more closely, we found something we weren’t expecting: Myrtle also has a pouch full of teeny tiny babies, far too small to survive without their mom.

Opossums are pretty incredible this way. It’s not unusual for a mother to have larger babies riding on her back while still carrying much smaller babies in her pouch. Their little family can span different stages of dependency, which makes saving mom even more important.

Right now, everything possible is being done to help Myrtle pull through — not just for her, but for every tiny life depending on her. She is warm, safe, being monitored closely, and receiving supportive care.

Please keep the prayers and good thoughts coming for Myrtle and her little family. They need every bit of love we can send their way. 🤍🐾

🦊🦝🐿️Meet the faces behind RobCo Wildlife Rescue. 🦊🦝🐿️

RobCo Wildlife Rescue may not have a big facility, but we do have a dedicated team of real people working behind the scenes every single day to give injured, orphaned, and displaced wildlife a second chance.

When you hand off an animal to us, it comes to one of these caring hands. One of us will be warming them, feeding them, medicating them, cleaning cages, doing late-night checks, driving transports, coordinating care, and eventually helping them return to the wild where they belong.

Every rescue starts with someone who cared enough to stop and help — and from there, our team takes it the rest of the way. We’re so thankful for this little rescue family and for the community that trusts us with these tiny lives. 💚

Whoever donated these awesome items from our Chewy wishlist… thank you so very much!

Everything we do is made possible by donations, our volunteers, and people who care enough to help.

Whether it’s formula, food, medical supplies, bedding, cleaning products, or something as simple as paper towels, every single donation helps us care for the wildlife that comes through our doors.

We are so grateful for every bit of support. Thank you for helping us help them. 🐾💚

I will never be able to understand the cruelty some humans are capable of.

These little creatures are simply trying to survive and live the lives nature gave them. They don’t deserve to be hurt, shot, or treated like they don’t matter.

Wildlife feels fear. They feel pain. And they deserve compassion. 💔

Please choose kindness. Always.

Look who’s feeling good enough to be silly again! Buddy has come such a long way, and seeing him play, bounce around, and act like a goofy little squirrel is exactly what we’ve been hoping for.

He’s still got healing and strengthening to do, but moments like this remind us just how far he’s come. Way to go, Buddy — keep the squirrel shenanigans coming. 🥹🐾

Stormy has weathered more than any little kitty should, and now she’s ready for her happily ever after. 💕

This sweet girl was brought into the clinic by a Good Samaritan after she had been traumatically attacked by something that caused her to lose one of her eyes. Thanks to quick help, medical care, and a whole lot of resilience, Stormy has healed beautifully.

She has also been spayed and is officially ready to find the loving forever home she deserves.

Stormy may be missing an eye, but she is not missing any love, personality, or determination. She is proof that animals can come through the hardest things and still be ready to trust, love, and start over. 🌧️➡️☀️

If you’ve been looking for a special kitty with an incredible little survivor story, Stormy might be your girl. Please share to help her find the perfect home. 💛🐱
