We are beyond grateful to Half Price Books of College Station for their generous donations of books over the years! We stock little libraries in two low-income grocery stores, and kids and parents alike are so happy to have access to books in what would otherwise be book deserts. We wrapped up the last of our school book giveaways yesterday, and we just want to thank all of our sponsors again for making the giveaways possible, along with all of the staff at Hearne Elementary, Mumford Independent School District, and Calvert ISD for helping to make the giveaways a success! My favorite part of the giveaways is always peeking into the classrooms later that day to see kids poring over their new books!

And, parents, don't forget to have your kids complete their Summer Reading Bingo Cards! If they bring them back to school in August, they can pick out another free book - and get a special bonus prize for blackouts!
