In 2023, the Watershed Research and Training Center hosted a Prescribed Fire Training Exchange (TREX) completely in Spanish! The event, which took place in Trinity County, California, brought together practitioners from many different backgrounds and eight different countries. Filmmaker Antonella Carrasco directed an incredible short film documenting the special event - it captures the creativity and hard work that goes into collaborative burning projects.
