UPDATE: Event cancelled due to low interest.

Part of the fun of a county event is seeing old friends and meeting new friends from other clubs throughout the county. We have fewer than 5 RSVPs at this point and will have to cancel if we don't reach a minimum of 10 youth from 3 or more clubs. Please RSVP before Monday evening if you are planning to come participate in Avian Judging day. At this point we do not have any Rabbits coming to the event. We will post the update on whether or not the event will be happening Monday evening around 8 pm.

Attention Market Animal Project Member and Leaders

Time to fill out those Livestock Agreement forms. Check with your animal project leader about using the most current form and be sure to send them to the current Trinity County 4-H address: Trinity County 4-H, P.O. Box 483, Hayfork CA 96041 by May 1, 2026.

Do you have any outgrown 4-H whites or hats, scarves/ties still in clean wearable condtion you would like to donate to the whites supply at the 4-H office? If you need to check out the stash, comment and we can make arrangements to see what is available. The boxes are currently at the Hayfork office, but if you are in Weaverville or nearby and want to donate some things, Kathy is regularly going to the hospital to visit her mom and can arrange to meetup in the parking lot and transport to the Hayfork office. Also if you know what sizes you are needing, Kathy can see if there are some in the stash and either meetup in the parking lot or if the Young Family Ranch office is open, drop them off.

Enrollment is still open for new volunteers and for members who are interested in the many non-market animal projects such as Arts & Crafts, Sewing or Textile Arts, Small Engines, Baking, Fishing, Shooting Sports, Pocket Pets, Poultry as home flocks, etc.

To choose a club go to https://ucanr.edu/county/trinity-county/find-trinity-4-h-club You can enroll in a primary club for your main focus project(s) and a secondary club if it offers another project interest that the first club doesn't include. There is only one enrollment fee which should be paid to your selected primary club.
Enroll at 4h.zsuite.org and then contact the leader for the selected clubs to pay the enrollment. Enrollment costs for adult volunteers are $28. Enrollment for youth members is $78 per youth per 4-H year.

You can join different kinds of programs in 4-H - you are not limited to just one! You have choices in how you can participate and the projects you explore.

Trinity Lake 4-H Club was at the Lewiston Bridge Lighting on November 29th, with a mistletoe stick for anyone to stand under !!
