We had a great time at Aldridge Gardens enjoying God's beautiful creation 🪴 and we might have been the loudest group there 🙃 and we had fun!

We then stopped by the park for lunch and wrapped up the day with popsicles 😋

Responsibility isn't punishment—it's freedom. The moment you stop waiting for someone else to fix your life is the moment you begin taking back ownership of it ❤️

Embracing responsibility sounds like:

My addiction is not who I am, but my recovery is my responsibility.

I can't change yesterday, but I can make healthy choices today.

I am responsible for protecting my peace, setting boundaries, and pursuing healing.

As Scripture reminds us:
Each of us will give an account of ourselves to God. — Romans 14:12

What does it mean to get my smile back?

To me, it means freedom. ❤️
It means being able to talk, smile, and laugh without feeling the need to cover my mouth. It means feeling confident, comfortable, and beautiful again ✨️
Sometimes healing is about so much more than what people can see on the outside. It's about restoring confidence, self-worth, and joy from the inside out.
God cares about every part of our healing, and I am thankful for His faithfulness through the journey.

He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds — Psalms 147:3 ❤️

We are so proud of both Tiffany and Tammy and all they have accomplished during their time with us.
Tiffany has stepped into our Program Manager role and has done an outstanding job helping keep the house running smoothly and on schedule. Her growth, leadership, and dedication have been a blessing to everyone around her.

Tammy is now living in the camper she worked hard to purchase herself—a huge milestone and testimony of God's faithfulness. She has chosen to keep her job and continue attending Love's Crossing with us, so while she is graduating from the program, she will remain a valued part of the Restoring Joy Recovery family 🙌

Recovery is not just about getting sober—it's about building a life worth living. We are thankful to watch these ladies continue to walk out their recovery, trust God, and embrace the future He has for them.

Congratulations, Tiffany and Tammy! We can't wait to see what God does next. ❤️🙌✨

We had a wonderful time of fellowship at North Gadsden Church of God! We are so thankful for the freedom found in the House of the Lord and for the opportunity to share our testimonies of God's goodness ❤️

There is power in telling what God has done, and we are grateful for every chance to encourage others with the hope, healing, and restoration that ONLY He can bring 🙌✨

About 24 people gave up their Saturday afternoon to become better equipped to serve the people in our community ❤️

Death by su***de is not something that's often talked about, yet Alabama continues to have a high rate of su***de-related deaths. Today, we took an important step toward being part of the solution.

As QPR Gatekeepers, we are now trained to QUESTION 👏 PERSUADE 👏 REFER

Mental illness is real, but so is mental recovery 🙌 Addiction is real but so is sobriety 🙌 financial burden is real but so is financial freedom 🙌 There is hope. There is help. And together, we can make a difference by recognizing the warning signs, having the hard conversations, and connecting people to the support they need.
