Peer Gynt LA gathered 70-80 Norway fans yesterday at Joxer Daly’s in Culver City to watch Norway beat Iraq 4-1 in their opening match at the 2026 FIFA World Cup. It was great fun, and we will be back on Monday at 4:45PM for Norway’s match against Senegal.

We were treated to a dance performance from a Camp Norge dance group today during our lunch break at the Sons of Norway District Six Convention.

This weekend it’s the convention for Sons of Norway District Six in Sacramento. Our delegates, Susan and Erik, got a chance to spend the day at Camp Norge. It was a beautifully sunny and warm day filled with music, sightseeing, storytelling, crafts, and lapskaus for lunch. A day well spent.
