Today's the Day! 3rd Annual Borough Wide Yard Sale - get your physical maps from borough hall and let the treasure hunt begin! There are over 20 locations to visit and remember to keep an eye out for others who did not register.
Whether your registered or not AND are in the Borough or close to it - feel free to comment your location here as well!

September 6 is shaping up to be a perfect day to celebrate our local community.

🎈 Paupack Watering Hole is marking five fantastic years with a fundraiser for Lake Region Community Dock Foundation with an anniversary party full of hometown energy. Great food, great music, and plenty of familiar faces to raise money for a worthy cause! Starts at 1pm and it's free to enter.

🧶 Meanwhile, the Hawley Silk Mill Fiber Festival brings artisans, makers, and fiber enthusiasts together for a vibrant day of creativity and local shopping. The Fiber Festival goes from 11am to 5pm and has a $10 per person entry charge.

Make it a Sunday of supporting local businesses, enjoying local talent, and celebrating everything that makes our region special!

Celebrate September 6 in the Lake Region with two amazing local events.

🎈 Paupack Watering Hole is marking 5 incredible years with an anniversary party you won’t want to miss—great food, great music, and great community to benefit the Lake Region Community Dock Foundation - The Party Starts at 1pm and is free to enter!

🧶Over at the Hawley Silk Mill, the annual Fiber Festival brings makers, artisans, and fiber lovers together for a day of food trucks, vendors and exploring the world of Fibers!
The festival is from 11 to 5 and is $10 per person.

Every five years, Lake Wallenpaupack is drawn down by Brookfield for testing of the dam and maintenance. Many have reported the lake is a bit lower then normal and that's for the targets to be hit. Here are the tentative lake level targets and their dates and keep in mind - these are all tentative and as with everything nature, it could change.

If you have a boat or dock in the water, check with your community to find out when they want the boats out.

Until then, stay safe and keep an eye out for hazards that normally would not be an issue.

September 8 – 12: 1180.50 to 1179.60 ft
September 13 – 19: 1179.30 to 1177.80 ft
September 20 – 26: 1177.60 to 1176.20 ft
September 27 – October 3: 1175.90 to 1174.50 ft

Sending out a huge thank you to everyone who attended and participated in the Wally Lake Fest annual car show on Church St in Hawley this year! We had a record number of cars showing! Special thank you to Lake Wally Cafe for letting us use their parking lot at the last minute to fit more cars in. Thank you to all the participants who parked along the outside of Church St or Penn Ave and still showed off their rides.

We appreciate all of you!
