One of our favorite parts of KidsFEST 2026 was our Haverhill “Claim to Fame” station highlighting Gladys Emerson Cook, a famous artist from Haverhill who was known for her portraits of domesticated animals. KidsFEST guests participated in a contest to draw or color a picture of one of Haverhill’s favorite therapy dogs, Stella the French Bulldog! She was the perfect model!

One week later and we are still in awe over the return of KidsFEST! Thank you to all of the sponsors, community organizations, vendors, performers, volunteers, HPS staff, city departments, elected officials, and our wonderful HEF board of directors who made this day possible. We are already thinking ahead to make next year’s event bigger and better!
