This precious raccoon duo was found in a cat carrier at a park. There was insulation in the towels they had, so I suspect they (and mom) were evicted from a home or construction site and the babies were dumped there. There were no nearby buildings, and no note on the carrier explaining the circumstances, so we couldn’t chance that mom would somehow know where to find them. They’re safe now. 💕

This afternoon, it was my great honor and pleasure to release this beautiful owl back to their home here in Haverhill. Tufts Wildlife Clinic has been caring for them and reached out to me for help with release! I got the easy/fun part this time :)

Bananas vs chicken - I think he prefers the bananas! It’s always a little bit difficult watching my bottle babies start to be scared of me, but it is so essential to their success in the wild!

These two little girls showed up shortly after the boy. Once they finish quarantine, I’ll see if they want to cohabitate. The more the merrier as long as they get along! Everyone is scared and cranky right now, but they’ll come around over the next few days as they realize I’m not going to hurt them ❤️

The inevitable start of baby raccoon season has begun! This little cutie has a whole lot of attitude 🥰 he will be solo for now while he quarantines, but I’m sure I’ll get calls for more babies soon!
