Nothing in this world equals the thrill of leading someone to Jesus. This is the essence of Oklahoma Academy…leading young people to Jesus so they can lead others. Located just outside Oklahoma City, Oklahoma Academy is strategically positioned to train its students to be soul winners for Jesus.

ation” (MH 395). This overall purpose of Oklahoma Academy flows through every aspect of the program. The college preparatory curriculum is designed to not only prepare students for college, but also teach them how to reach people for Christ. The music program extends beyond performance as a ministry that touches hearts when other media cannot. To this end, the chorale, bell choir, and string ensemble travel throughout the United States and the world, sharing the gospel through music. Since all true ministry is founded on character and a strong work ethic, the vocational program at Oklahoma Academy seeks to establish this foundation in its students. Learning the practical, simple skills of life is an essential preparation for service. Along with the usual work areas of canvassing, cafeteria, maintenance, offices, farm, and grounds, Oklahoma Academy offers two programs designed to train young people in specific skills for missionary work: massage therapy and mission aviation. Seeking God in His second book of nature is an important part of Oklahoma Academy. Whether it is horse camp, a Waldensian hike in the Wichita Mountains, or Sabbath outings to a park, students have many opportunities to enjoy the rejuvenation that fellowshipping in nature can bring. Founded in 1981, Oklahoma Academy has a nearly 30-year history of excellence. In everything they do, their goal is to help the students “obtain an education that will help them to stand by the side of Christ in unselfish service” (MH 395)

Beginning the Year Together | Wewoka Woods Sabbath Retreat

Oklahoma Academy students and staff gathered at Wewoka Woods for our first retreat of the school year—a time set aside to strengthen our relationships with God and with one another.

Together, we participated in Sabbath School and church, worshiped, and reflected on the importance of keeping Christ at the center of the year ahead. Because of the summer heat, much of our time was spent in the main lodge or exploring the nature museum, but there was still plenty of fellowship, laughter, and conversation.

The retreat gave us an opportunity to step away from our regular routine, appreciate God’s creation, and begin the school year united as an Oklahoma Academy family.

New Chairs, Generous Hearts

New cafeteria chairs have arrived at Oklahoma Academy! Two generous donors purchased them from our Amazon wishlist, meeting a practical need that will benefit our students and staff every day.

This video follows the chairs from unboxing to their new place in the cafeteria, where they will be used for countless shared meals and conversations. We are deeply grateful to the friends who made this gift possible. Thank you for giving the Oklahoma Academy family a seat at the table!

Paving the Way for the Future | Oklahoma Academy Campus Update

Oklahoma Academy is paving the way for the future!

Join us for a tour of the campus paving project and see the progress being made on roads serving our staff homes, newly acquired property, future development areas, and campus delivery routes.

In this video, you will see:

• Newly paved campus roads and staff driveways
• Preparations for an additional two-inch layer of finishing asphalt
• Property planned for additional staff housing and a cul-de-sac
• Future RV hookups and camping areas
• The planned location of a new aviation hangar
• Land available for future ministries, including dreams for a church and health ministry
• A road that previously required four-wheel drive after heavy rain
• Improved access for delivery trucks, buses, and other heavy vehicles

This tremendous improvement was made possible by a friend of Oklahoma Academy who thoughtfully remembered the school in his will. His generosity and forward thinking will continue blessing our students, staff, and ministries for many years.

Save the Date – Oklahoma Academy Alumni Weekend 2026

October 17–19, 2026

Mark your calendars now and begin making plans to return to Oklahoma Academy for a wonderful weekend of reconnecting with classmates, teachers, and friends.

Whether it's been five years or forty, Alumni Weekend is a special opportunity to renew old friendships, reminisce about cherished memories, and see what God is continuing to do through Oklahoma Academy.

Honored Classes are those who graduated in years ending in 1 or 6.

Accommodations

We encourage you to make lodging reservations early. Accommodations are available at Messiah's Mansion on campus, as well as several hotels in Harrah and Choctaw.

Weekend Program

Special speakers and additional weekend activities will be announced in the coming weeks.

We look forward to welcoming alumni and friends back to campus for an inspiring weekend of fellowship, worship, and memories.

At Oklahoma Academy, we're looking for mission-minded individuals who want to invest their skills in something that lasts. Whether your experience is in education, aviation, mechanics, agriculture, communications, food service, accounting, groundskeeping, or another area, your work can help prepare young people for lives of service around the world.

Oklahoma Academy is a boarding academy with a mission of preparing workers for God's harvest. Our staff are teachers, mentors, trainers, encouragers, and often lifelong friends to the students they serve.

Many people come for a position and discover a family.

We currently have multiple openings and would love to connect with individuals, couples, retirees, families, and career-transition workers who feel called to use their talents in ministry.

While you're there, you can browse a selection of resources from Oklahoma Academy Publishing, pick up some handouts, and enter for a chance to win a few door prizes.

We also have a fun community project underway: helping complete a large graphic puzzle made from Rubik's Cubes. Visitors can contribute by arranging cube patterns that become part of the finished image. It's a unique challenge that's drawing people of all ages.
