It was a packed house at the Division Council Meeting (DCM) held in Jones last night. We did miss our friends that were not able to attend. DCM is where Kiwanis leaders from local clubs came together to share ideas, upcoming projects, and the work happening across our area.

Hearing what other clubs are doing was a great reminder that every member has something valuable to bring — whether it’s helping at an event, sharing ideas, inviting others, or simply showing up ready to serve.

If you’ve been looking for a way to get more involved, now is a great time. There are so many opportunities to serve, connect, and make a difference through Kiwanis. We hope to see you at our upcoming meeting!

We had such a good time today at the Aktion Club Rally at the Chicken Shack in Arcadia. Thank you to everyone who came out today and everyone who made this event a success. We invite you to join us at our next monthly meeting on July 14th at 7:00 p.m.

The Cub House Foundation is now accepting applications for our Stay Cool Program.

This program is designed to help families, seniors, individuals with disabilities, and others facing financial hardship stay safe during Oklahoma's extreme summer temperatures.

Available assistance may include:
✅ Fans
✅ Cooling supplies
✅ Hydration support
✅ Heat safety resources

Priority may be given to households with:
• Young children
• Seniors
• Individuals with medical conditions or disabilities
• Limited income

DID YOU KNOW HARRAH KIWANIS HAS SPONSORED AN AREA WIDE AKTION CLUB CALLED SPECIAL FORCES!

WHAT IS AKTION CLUB, WELL WE ARE GLAD YOU ASKED.................🤗😃

Aktion Club is the only service club for adults with disabilities, with more than 7,200 members worldwide.

Aktion Clubs draw members from various organizations that support individuals with disabilities, as well as other community programs. Aktion clubs can also be established at churches, libraries, YMCAs, lodges or similar facilities. A Kiwanis club, composed of like-minded, service-oriented people from the community, serves as the club’s sponsor.

Aktion Club is supported at the district level and by the Kiwanis International Office in Indianapolis, Indiana, which provides programs, literature and opportunities to relate to individuals with disabilities from countries worldwide.

Objects of Aktion Club:

To develop initiative and leadership.
To provide experience in living and working together.
To serve the community.
To prepare for useful citizenship.
To accept and promote the following Kiwanis ideals.

If we reach our goal of 15 successful donations Our Blood Institute will donate to Harrah Historical Society a minimum of $150. Which will go a long way to help with programs and operating cost in our community. Help us help them and help critically low blood supplies be replenished!
