From Harper ISD...

After conferring with county emergency officials, out of an abundance of caution, Harper ISD will be closed Tuesday, January 27, 2026.

Although major roads appear clear, conditions vary greatly across the county. Many of the county roads remain wet and have the potential to refreeze overnight. Not only does this decision keep our families out of harm's way, it helps reduce traffic during early morning hours and supports local law enforcement and emergency personnel as they continue public safety operations.

At this time, we expect school operations to resume as normal on Wednesday, however, we will continue to monitor conditions and share updates as necessary.

Thank you for your understanding. Stay safe and warm.
