Angelo State University is hosting an on‑campus ACT Preparation & College Planning Day designed to help students maximize their scholarship potential and feel confident in the college application process. We would greatly appreciate your help in sharing this opportunity with your students and families. This interactive workshop will feature nationally recognized ACT expert Chad Cargill, who has helped more than 200,000 students improve their ACT performance through engaging, strategy-focused instruction.

Students who attend will:
Participate in an ACT preparation workshop led by a nationally recognized expert
Enjoy lunch on campus
Engage in a college planning workshop focused on preparing for the application process
Learn about financial aid and the FAFSA in a college financing session
Have the option to take a guided campus tour at the conclusion of the day

This is a great opportunity for students who want to improve their ACT score, strengthen their college applications, and increase scholarship opportunities.

Cost: $75 per student (includes lunch and a t-shirt)

Please get your tDap and MCV for 2026-27 school year. If you have received your vaccines please bring a copy to the school office or nurse.

You can email it to [email protected] or fax to 877-399-9056.

If your physician was supposed to fax, please follow up.

If you received a letter, please take care of those immunizations and send me a copy.

PRE-K and Kindergarten must have their 4 y/o shots to start school the first day. If you plan to use an exemption from the state it must be here before the first day of school or they can not attend class.

As we wrap up an incredible school year, we want to update you on how to access your child’s Spring State Assessment results. These assessments—including STAAR, End-of-Course (EOC), and TELPAS—provide a valuable snapshot of your student’s academic progress, language development, and strengths.
When to Expect Results:
Scores will be released by the Texas Education Agency (TEA):
STAAR EOC Results: Available June 10, 2026
STAAR Grades 3-8 Results: Available June 16, 2026
TELPAS Results: Available June 11, 2026
How to Access Your Child’s Scores:

You can view score reports directly on the Texas Assessment website using your student's Unique Access Code, Date of Birth, and First Name. If you have trouble logging in or need your student's Unique Access Code, please contact Mrs. Felts at the front office at 830-864-4044.
