In honor of Principal Appreciation Month, we at Harper ISD would like to celebrate someone who brings steady leadership, dedication, and a true passion for student success to Harper High School!

🏃‍♂️Proud moment for High School Cross Country today! 🤘

Our Ladyhorns placed 3rd overall in District—just six points shy of taking 1st—and punched their ticket to Regionals! Shoutout to Adelyn (6th) and Kimber (10th) for medaling, and Milania for a strong 11th-place finish!

On the boys' side, the Longhorns secured 4th place, with Ben taking 4th overall to medal and earn an individual spot at Regionals! Jagger had a great run placing 12th.

"Bennie and the Jets" (Ben and our Regional-bound Ladyhorns) will be running at the Regional Meet in Corpus Christi on Monday, October 26th.

Today, our middle school students took some time to fill the courtyard with positive messages, encouragement, and a little extra kindness! 🖍️

October is National Bullying Prevention Awareness Month, and at HISD, we like to put our own spin on things by focusing not only on preventing bullying, but also on the importance of spreading kindness, lifting others up, and making sure everyone feels like they belong.

Sometimes, the smallest words can make the biggest difference. Let's keep spreading kindness, one message, one moment, and one act at a time! 💚

2027 PEC Youth Tour applications are NOW OPEN!

Youth Tour is an all-expenses-paid summer trip to Washington D.C. with students from other electrical cooperatives across the country! While there, delegates will tour historical sites, meet local political representatives, and create lifelong friendships with students from all around the country!

This opportunity is open to high school sophomores, juniors, and seniors who have a parent or legal guardian who is a PEC member in good standing.

💚Horn Pride. Pass It Around!💚

In honor of Principal Appreciation Month, we at Harper ISD would like to celebrate someone who brings a genuine passion for kids and a whole lot of creative energy to our middle schoolers!

Please join us in recognizing Mrs. Lindsey Norris, Harper Middle School Principal.

She can be found cheering on our students at sporting events, filling them with encouragement, and spreading joy with her Dolly Kindness Cart! We are ever thankful for her warm heart and creative leadership.
