As we wrap up an incredible school year, we want to update you on how to access your child’s Spring State Assessment results. These assessments—including STAAR, End-of-Course (EOC), and TELPAS—provide a valuable snapshot of your student’s academic progress, language development, and strengths.
When to Expect Results:
Scores will be released by the Texas Education Agency (TEA):
STAAR EOC Results: Available June 10, 2026
STAAR Grades 3-8 Results: Available June 16, 2026
TELPAS Results: Available June 11, 2026
How to Access Your Child’s Scores:
https://www.texasassessment.gov/
You can view score reports directly on the Texas Assessment website using your student's Unique Access Code, Date of Birth, and First Name. If you have trouble logging in or need your student's Unique Access Code, please contact Mrs. Felts at the front office at 830-864-4044.

These two young ladies have provided a solid backbone to the Longhorn Express over the last four years and will be greatly missed as they graduate and move on to very bright futures! Mrs. Stacey's Transitions Seniors ended their year with a watch party where they watched the documentary "Borrowed Futures," a video produced by Ramsey Solutions to help spread awareness of the student loan crisis in America today. There is currently $1.84 trillion in student loan debt in America today. As our students head into graduation, it's so important to make sure that they truly understand everything involved in taking out student loans. They need to understand that student loans must be paid back, they collect interest, and they are not bankruptable.

But, more importantly, that there are OPTIONS: Scholarships, working parttime, choosing a school they can afford like a community college or trade school to start or to get their necessary certifications. These are all fantastic options for avoiding or minimizing student loan debt!

These seniors have been working diligently on their own scholarship applications, and we are so proud of the work they've done so far to strive toward their own debt-free degrees.

Congratulations to these staff members on their new roles for the 2026-2027 school year.

Mr Stephen Krupicka will be the HHS principal and Mrs Lindsey Norris will fulfill the role of HMS Principal.
