We are so quick to share things we love. A new restaurant, something we bought, or a place we visited. We don't really think twice about it--we just share because we enjoyed it and experienced it.
And today I kept thinking... why isn't it always that easy for us to share Jesus?
Maybe we put too much pressure on ourselves. We think we don't know enough about the Bible, or have the perfect words, or have the right prayer.
But sharing Jesus starts so much simpler than that.
It starts with our story.
This is what Jesus has done for me.
This is how He met me.
This is how He carried me.
That's something no one else has experienced and share the story like you can.
Who is your one?
Not a crowd...just that one person God has already placed in your heart that you can lift up in prayer, invite to church, encourage, or just share your testimony with.
We may not always feel equipped, but we can be willing.
My prayer for all of us this week:
Lord, equip us. Lord, use us. Give us the courage to share Jesus, the words when we need them, and the heart to love people in a way that points them to You.
And maybe, you're the one who needs someone to come alongside you. If you need prayer, someone to talk to, or simply a place to connect, reach out to us. We would love to pray with you, listen, and walk alongside you.
