The Salvation Army Clackamas Corps is getting ready to help local families make Christmas a little brighter this year! ❤️ If your family needs assistance with Christmas gifts for your children, we invite you to sign up for our Angel Tree Program.

Lt. Andrew and Sheryl Flockhart of The Salvation Army - Clackamas Corps would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who helped make our Back-to-School Event possible.

We are especially grateful to Walmart, Willamette Dental, Fred Meyer, Toyota of Gladstone, and all of the volunteers who gave their time and support to help local students and families prepare for the school year.

Your generosity, partnership, and willingness to serve made a meaningful difference in our community. Thank you for helping us continue Doing the Most Good.

What a great day of planning, fellowship, and looking ahead! ❤️

Today, our Clackamas Corps family gathered together to prepare for the kickoff of our fall programs. We shared a meal, enjoyed time together, and talked about how we can use these programs to serve our community, build relationships, and share the love of Jesus.

We’re excited for what God has ahead!

We an amazing day celebrating the last days of summer together at Church at the Park!

We enjoyed great food, wonderful fellowship, laughter and time together as a church family. Lt. Andrew shared a devotional from Psalm 34:8

“Taste and see that the Lord is good; blessed is the one who seeks refuge in him.”

As we gathered around the table and enjoyed some delicious food, we were reminded to do more than just taste the food—we were encouraged to taste and see what the Lord has done!

It's easy to tie our joy to a good day, but true unchanging joy isn't based on circumstances. That kind of supernatural joy is found in the steady presence of the Lord. The more who choose to trust and abide in Him as our source, the more we find it!

Silver linings and community hearts in the Portland Metro area!

At the Clackamas Corps, located right here in Happy Valley, we are dedicated to providing community & support for our local seniors. Whether it's our monthly free food pantry or planning fun excursions around the town, we believe our seniors are the foundation of our community!

There is so much freedom in knowing we serve a God who offers His strength. We do not need to muster up our own endurance or patience. Today, let's surrender our struggles and lean on His everlasting power.

Ready, set, school! ✏️
When our community comes together, amazing things happen! The first day of school should be about excitement, fresh notebooks, and big dreams-not the stress of an empty backpack.

Thanks to our incredible local heroes and community partners, The Salvation Army is working hard to make sure local kids walk into their classrooms with confidence, fresh supplies and everything needed to shine!

-Find your local chapter and take part in programs or volunteer!
