At CAN Dream, we believe awareness should lead to action.

Last week, we joined forces with NC A&T’s BA-UMAP and the Columbia (MD) Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. to talk about brain health, Alzheimer’s awareness, representation in research, and the role each of us can play in carrying this information back to our families and communities.

That’s how we create force multipliers for brain health. 🧠💜

Can Dream X Art with a Heart RECAP!💜
                                                                                                                                                                                                             Through our “Map of Me” activity, participants explored the memories, people, places, strengths, and dreams that have shaped their unique journeys. They concluded by creating personalized map keys that represented the values and legacy they hope to leave behind.                                            
                                                                                                                                                             Thank you to everyone who joined us and shared a piece of their story. Your openness and creativity made this collaboration truly meaningful. We look forward to creating more opportunities to inspire, connect, and grow together.

We had an incredible time connecting with the amazing youth at Art with a Heart through a day of creativity, reflection, and meaningful conversation. 🌟

Together, we explored the power of sharing our stories, celebrating our strengths, and dreaming boldly about the future. One of our favorite moments was seeing participants confidently share what makes them unique and how they hope to make a difference in the world. 💕

Thank you to Art with a Heart for welcoming us and creating a space where young people can learn, grow, and express themselves. We’re grateful to everyone who participated and made this experience so memorable. Together, we’re empowering the next generation to dream big and lead with purpose. 💜
