Today Iām celebrating another trip around the sunāand the thing that fills my cup more than anything is quality time with the people I loveā¦ and saving animals who have nowhere else to turn.
Every single day at Sunshineās Friends brings new challenges. This is the hardest, most demanding work Iāve ever doneāand by far the most rewarding. Watching a terrified, neglected animal transform into a confident, loved companion is pure magic. This year, weāre expanding so we can double the number of lives we save. That means more space, more equipment, more food, litter, and medical care for the animals waiting for their forever homes.
For my birthday, Iām asking for a gift that truly matters: $20 or more (whatever you can give) to help fund the completion of our facility renovation, the equipment we need, and the daily supplies that keep our animals fed, and healthy. Funding and helping hands are our biggest hurdles right now.
