🎭✨ A Standing Ovation for Arts Education! ✨🎭

The Jones Magnet Middle School PTSA had the pleasure of chaperoning our Jones Theatre Club on an incredible field trip to The American Theatre!

What an amazing group of students! They were attentive, engaged, and genuinely excited to experience a live performance by the Pushback Players! 🎭

The Pushback Players delivered a performance that was both hilarious and informative, demonstrating the power of theatre to educate, entertain, and inspire. They also took time to engage our students in a special Q&A session, offering valuable insight into the world of performing arts. What a meaningful opportunity for our young performers!

💜 Now it’s our turn to show up for them!

Please join us next Friday as our very own Jones Theatre Club takes the stage for its Fall Production! These talented students have been working hard, and we’d love to see our Jones families and community come out to support them!

We also want to extend a heartfelt thank-you to our amazing community partner, The American Theatre, for its continued commitment to providing enriching arts and educational programming for Hampton City Schools students.

Exposure creates opportunity, and experiences like these help our students discover what’s possible! 🌟

Good Morning, Jones Family! 💙🐆🤍

Today is the kickoff of our Jones Magnet Middle School PTSA Community Cleanup Initiative! 🌎🧹

We are excited to come together as students, families, and community members to make a positive impact in our community!

📍 Meeting Location: Across from Buckroe Coffee
🕙 Time: 10:00 AM
📅 Date: Saturday, October 24, 2026

What to Expect:

🧹 Volunteers will be organized into cleanup teams, with adults grouped alongside students to ensure appropriate supervision.

🧤 Each team will be assigned a designated area, focusing on sidewalks, parking areas, and designated sections along Pembroke Avenue.

🚨 SAFETY FIRST! Businesses in the area will remain open during our cleanup. Please be especially mindful of moving vehicles, parking lot traffic, and nearby roadways. Students must remain with their assigned adult supervisors. No one should enter active roadways to collect litter.

👟 Dress for the weather and wear comfortable, closed-toe shoes! We will be walking, bending, and picking up litter throughout the event.

🧤 We will have plenty of gloves and trash bags available. Litter grabbers may be available, but they are not guaranteed.

If you would like to participate but have not registered, please complete your volunteer sign-up before 8:30 AM this morning!

💙 Let’s show up, work together, and do our part to keep our community clean!

This initiative is about more than picking up litter. It’s about teaching our students the importance of service, leadership, responsibility, and taking pride in the communities we call home.
