Xi Omicron Chapter of Theta Nu Xi (ΘNΞ) Multicultural Sorority, Inc., located in Central Virginia for Graduate, Alumnae and Professional Women.

Chapter History

In the winter of 2006, Sorors Amanda Leonard Pohl and Melissa Evans Brandt began the process to start the Central Virginia Graduate, Alumnae, & Professional (GAP) Colony of Theta Nu Xi Multicultural Sorority, Inc. On March 5, 2006 the two women successfully created the Central Virginia GAP Colony. Due to lack of sisters in the area and the relocation of other interested sisters, t

he colony was not able to move forward as a chapter and became dormant. However, in the summer of 2012, a new group of women came together in hopes of reactivating the Central Virginia GAP Colony. Sorors Amanda Leonard Pohl, Nicole Jene Reaves, Ninive Elizabeth Marconi, Dominique Footes, Anahita Sarshar, and April Carter proudly transformed the Central Virginia GAP Colony to the Xi Omicron Chapter, founding the first GAP Chapter in Virginia on August 9, 2013.
