Here at SHINE, we celebrate EVERY milestone!

Victor is making incredible strides in so many areas, from showing more interest in playing and interacting with other children to following directions with greater ease. He is also becoming more independent with daily routines like getting dressed, personal care, cleaning up, puzzles, and other activities. Watching Victor build these skills and take on more for himself is something worth celebrating. We’re so proud of you, Victor.

One of his biggest achievements is no longer needing special education services, a testament to his hard work, determination, and growth. Join SHINE at the City of Lovejoy’s Soccer on the Green as we celebrate that every day is Autism Awareness Day.

Stop by our Autism Sensory Activation Station in Zone 3 to explore sensory friendly activities, connect with our team, and learn more about the resources and programs SHINE provides for autism families across our community.

The countdown is on! Just 2 days until SHINE presents The C.A.R.E. Project.

The C.A.R.E. Project, which stands for Create Awareness Respond Effectively, brings autism families, first responders, healthcare professionals, educators, and community members together for one powerful conversation focused on understanding, communication, and building safer interactions for autistic individuals.

Whether you're a parent, caregiver, first responder, educator, or simply want to learn more, this event is for you. Your voice and perspective matter.

We are incredibly grateful for the support of The Brothers Trust and Kares 4 Kids, whose generosity has helped make The C.A.R.E. Project possible. Their investment in our mission is helping create lasting change for autism families in our community.
