Congratulations to North Haven’s Emelia Brandi on being recognized as the SCC’s lone softball Scholar Athlete!

Emelia’s success doesn’t stop on the softball field. As a member of the Shoreline Sharks, she has also found tremendous success on the ice through her hard work, dedication, and leadership. We are incredibly proud to see one of our own excelling both athletically and academically at such a high level.

Student-athletes like Emelia represent everything youth sports should be about — commitment, character, teamwork, and perseverance. Congratulations, Emelia! The entire Sharks family is cheering you on!

Two summer hockey development options.

Shoreline Sharks Coach Cait Bernick leads a Summer Skills Clinic that is perfect for younger girls (ages 5–12) looking for fun, focused skill development in a 6-session format on Wednesday evenings from 7/1 to 8/5. Assisting Cait are Marisa Berti, West Haven Youth Hockey Coach; Nadia DiNitale, a former Villanova club player; and Emma Eschweiller, a current Trinity College goalie.

Another option is the Rodham Hockey Development Program, which offers high-level training throughout the summer for experienced players serious about elevating their game. Sessions are on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from early June through mid-August. Mid Fairfield Coach, Ed Rodham, leads the clinic in partnership with IPH and a team of current and former female collegiate hockey players.

Both programs are held at Northford and are open to all players. Details and registration links for both programs can be found on the Shoreline Sharks website at https://bit.ly/2026SummerSkills

Big-time recognition for our Sharks dynamic goaltending duo.

Congratulations to Kyra Sweeney and Lucy Kimberly on being selected to—and competing in—the CHSCA All-Star Game!

Kyra represented Hamden High, while Lucy suited up for Trumbull High—both showcasing their elite puck-stopping skills.

We’re excited to have Kyra back between the pipes for our U19 Tier II team next season, and we wish Lucy all the best as she heads to Western Connecticut State University to backstop their inaugural NCAA D3 women’s hockey program.

These U10 Sharks made the most of our fundraiser at Five Guys in Branford—great food for a great cause! 🍔💚

Thanks to their support (and some serious appetites), they helped raise money for the program.

And a reminder: unlike many girls hockey programs in CT, the Shoreline Sharks are a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization—every bit of support goes a long way.

Thank you to Five Guys Branford and everyone who came out to support!
