The next 2 weekends we are collecting paper products!

🫶The weekends of June 13/14 and June 20/21 the St. Michael Parish Social Justice and Peace commission is collecting paper towels, toilet paper, and disinfecting wipes to donate to the United Community Living Center. Donation bins will be set up at all Parish churches.

Last year we collected 619 rolls of toilet paper and 219 rolls of paper towels! There is still a great need for these products in our community.

Celebrate Divine Mercy Sunday at St Joseph Church today!

✝❤️"For the sake of His sorrowful Passion, have mercy on us and on the whole world."

On May 5, 2000, Pope Saint John Paul II decreed that the Second Sunday of Easter, the Octave of Easter, would be known as Divine Mercy Sunday. Join us this Sunday, April 12th, at St. Joseph Church in Gardiner for a celebration of our Lord's great mercy.

☘🍽 All are welcome to join in fellowship after the 5:00pm Mass on Sunday, March 22nd at the Sacred Heart Church, Hallowell hall. The potluck theme is St. Patrick's Day - whip up some of your famous potatoes, cabbage, corned beef, or carrot dishes. Or bring your one-of-a-kind Irish Soda Bread!

Our Sacred Heart family has grown by one sweet little baby! We have set up a meal train to help support the family while they adjust to life with a baby. Any and all support is greatly appreciated. ❤️

The Flaherty family is welcoming their newest little one! As they settle into life with their newborn, we hope to support them during these early weeks at home by providing meals. Wishing you all a blessed Ash Wednesday.

✝ “Remember that you are dust and to dust you shall return."

Today is Ash Wednesday, marking the beginning of Lent. The ashes we receive on our foreheads today are both a reminder of our earthly mortality and a call to repentance.

Ash Wednesday is a day of fasting and a day of abstinence from meat. It is not a holy day of obligation, but Catholics are encouraged to attend Mass to begin their Lenten journey.
