June is Men’s Mental Health Awareness Month!

While mental health awareness is important year-round, this month brings attention to the mental health crisis in our male population. Men are nearly four times more likely to die by su***de than women.

Additionally, many men will refuse to talk about these issues with someone until it’s too late. Instead of seeking help, some men turn to self-destructive habits that further worsen their mental well-being.

There are plenty of ways to offer help to the men in your life. You can start the conversation and offer a safe space to talk about mental health and wellness. There are also various mental health resources made for men.
