WCJFL The WCJFL was founded in 1966. The league's games are played from September thru November at Marty L. Snook Park in Halfway, Maryland.

Washington County Junior Football League provides Flag football for Grades K-2, Girl's Flag for Grades 5-8, Tackle for Grades 3-8 and Cheer for ages 5 yrs up to 8th grade. We have teams in every area of the county and accept kids in Grades 1 & 2 for Flag, 3rd-8th grade for Tackle and age 3 to 8th grade for cheer. We also accept kids from WV and PA . Our coaches teach fundamentals, heads up tacklin

g, sportsmanship and the love of the game to each and every child. We have a must play rule, ensuring every child gets to experience the game. We do not travel, except for one possible game in Hancock each year, that is rotated based on record. We have no attendance fee, we provide all equipment with the exception of cleats/girdle. We appreciate parent participation and as always any help with fund raisers along with working a shift in the concession stand are essential to keep our league operating.

Be sure to sign up for concession stand (PW & Junior Division) as that is how we keep our pricing the lowest of any youth sport in Washington County.

Hello WCJFL Community! We know you've been missing youth football and of course those scrumpdiliocious chicken tenders! ;) Full schedules will be released by end of weekend but here are the games taking place next weekend as we begin our season.

Please note, Opening Ceremonies will take place on Saturday, 9/5/26 and players/cheer will be announced prior to their games that weekend.

FLAG UPDATES:

K-2 Flag-we've had several parents offer to Coach in both North and South. As soon as background checks are complete, we will provide them with rosters and you'll hear this weekend, if not sooner.

Girl's 5-8th Flag-we will know after registration tonight if there will be 3-5 teams. Rosters will go out tomorrow and you'll hear by this weekend.

Please note that Cheer and Flag football registration is now closed, unless you have been corresponding with the Player Agent and have received instructions on next steps.
Tackle areas are almost full as well, unless you've been advised by the Player Agent, but we do have plenty of room on the Boonsboro Titans if anyone is interested! We need at least 5 more for their JV and at least 6-8 for their Varsity. Practice is in Boonsboro, but all games are played at Marty Snook Park.
We offer payment plans and scholarships, if you qualify.
