Dear Beloved Community,
It has been a little while since I last posted, and I want to begin by offering my heartfelt thanks for your patience and understanding. I also want to apologize for being quiet. Even in this quieter season, you have remained close in my heart.
Over the past months, I have been tending to some health issues and making more space to care for myself. Just as I encourage each of you to nurture your mind, body, and spirit, I have needed to do the same. This season has reminded me that our practice is not only something we offer to others, but something we are invited to embody in our own lives.
Because of this, you will likely see fewer yoga classes on the schedule for a while. There will also be fewer kirtans and workshops, especially over the summer. I know these gatherings are a meaningful and beautiful part of our community, and I hold them with so much love.
During this season, I will be focusing more of my energy on individual healing work, including acupuncture, private yoga sessions, and Reiki. I am still here, and I am grateful to continue supporting you in these more personal and intimate ways (and I have some openings Thursday and Friday this week!)
As we move toward fall, I am also excited to share that some beautiful deep dives are on the horizon. These will include Yoga and Meditation Teacher Trainings (info on the website), as well as a similar transformational path for those who may not feel called to teach, but do feel called to deep inner growth.
I am learning to honor what my health and energy can truly support, so that when I do show up for a class, session, training, or appointment, I can be fully present with you. This feels like part of caring for myself, and part of caring for this community with integrity and love.
Thank you for walking with me through this gentle shift in rhythm. Bhakti Spirit is still rooted in the same intention: to help people heal and connect from the heart — to self, to one another, and to the Divine.
With love and gratitude,
Gita Kali Natarajan
