God’s Food Bank needs extra hands as we welcome new families over the next few months. Whether you can give a few hours this season or are looking for a regular place to volunteer, we’d love to have you join us.

🦃 **Help Bring Thanksgiving to a Neighbor’s Table**

God’s Food Bank is asking our community to help provide frozen turkeys for neighbors who rely on us for their Thanksgiving meal.

This year, turkeys are more expensive and more difficult for the food bank to order than in years past. Your generosity can help us meet that challenge and give local families a reason to gather with gratitude.

**There are two ways to help:**

🦃 **Donate a frozen turkey.** When shopping for your Thanksgiving meal, please consider purchasing an extra frozen turkey for a family in need. You can drop it off at God’s Food Bank, or we can arrange for a board member to collect it from you and deliver it to the food bank. Please message us to coordinate a drop-off or pickup.

💛 **Give toward the purchase of turkeys.** Monetary donations of any amount are welcome through **PayPal Giving Fund, Venmo, or CashApp.**
Your gift will help us purchase frozen turkeys for our neighbors.

Whether you donate a turkey, make a financial contribution, or share this post, you are helping bring a Thanksgiving meal—and the kindness of this community—to someone’s table.

No one in our community should have to face hunger alone. At God’s Food Bank, we see what becomes possible when Logan County comes together to care for its neighbors.

United Way of Logan County is one of our largest financial supporters, and we are proud to be one of its 12 partner agencies. We’re grateful to have been chosen to share what this partnership means during this year’s campaign.

Some of the most moving moments in our work come when neighbors we once served return as donors. To see that circle of care continue means more than we can say. It reminds us that support given at the right time can reach far beyond a single visit.

-🥔 Help Harvest Potatoes for God's Food Bank! 🥔

We're inviting our community to join us in the potato fields at Ben Coffin's farm to help harvest fresh potatoes that will be distributed to families served by God's Food Bank this Saturday, June from 6:30-8:30 am.

This is a wonderful opportunity to make a direct impact in the fight against hunger right here in Logan County. Every potato harvested helps provide nutritious food to our neighbors in need.

No sign-up is required—just bring your work gloves, wear comfortable clothes and shoes, and come ready to help!

💚 One of the greatest gifts a supporter can give God's Food Bank is becoming a recurring donor.

Why? Because it helps us know what resources we'll have available from month to month. Families don't stop needing food when donations slow down, and recurring gifts help us bridge those gaps and continue serving our community without interruption.

Whether it's $10 a month or $100 a month, recurring donors provide stability, reliability, and peace of mind. They allow us to focus less on uncertainty and more on what matters most—making sure our neighbors have access to food when they need it.

🥕🍅 Calling All Gardeners! 🌽🥒

God's Food Bank is currently experiencing a shortage of fresh produce through our regular food supply channels. Unfortunately, we have been unable to receive fresh fruits and vegetables in our weekly orders, and we know how important these nutritious items are for the families we serve.

If your garden is producing more than your family can use, we would be incredibly grateful for donations of fresh produce. Tomatoes, squash, cucumbers, peppers, green beans, zucchini, melons, and other garden favorites can make a meaningful difference on our pantry shelves.

Your extra harvest could help provide fresh, healthy food to neighbors right here in Logan County while we work through these supply challenges.

Produce donations can be dropped off during our regular hours at God's Food Bank. If you have questions about donating, please contact us. Our hours on Wednesday, (tomorrow June 3) are 9:30-5:30. 405-260-1412
