Congratulations!

🏆 YOUR UNDEFEATED DISTRICT CHAMPIONS! 🏆

History made. District secured. And they did it UNDEFEATED. 💙🥎

The Guthrie Lady Jays officially claimed the 2026 District Championship, completing an undefeated run through district play for the first time in at least 15 years — the entirety of Coach Tarrant’s time with the program.

And they sealed it in a BIG way.

Facing Carl Albert for the second time this season, Guthrie completed the season sweep of the Titans with a dominant 12–2 run-rule win in six innings Monday night. After falling behind 2–0 early, the Lady Jays answered — and never looked back — scoring 12 unanswered runs to put an exclamation point on their district championship.

🔥 THE BATS SHOWED UP.

Guthrie collected 11 hits and 12 RBIs on the night. Teagan Duehning went 3-for-4 with two doubles and 4 RBIs, while Anna Stevens went 3-for-4 with 5 RBIs, including a three-run WALK-OFF BOMB to center field in the sixth to end it! Halle Hamilton delivered a two-run double, Lola Brown added two hits, and Ryn McCormick and Emalyn Redman each added a hit to fuel the Lady Jays’ offense.

🥎 AND THE CIRCLE SHUT THE DOOR.

Holland McLemore got the start and worked the first two innings before handing the ball to Emry Hebensperger, who was absolutely lights out in relief. Emry allowed just ONE hit and ZERO runs over four innings, striking out SEVEN and earning the win.

The defense was rock solid making it a complete team win from start to finish.
