💬October is AAC Awareness Month!

AAC means augmentative and alternative communication.

This month, Helping Hands for GAND is sharing resources, everyday ideas, and community experiences that support communication.

💜💚 What an incredible GAND Awareness Month.

Throughout September, our community came together to share stories, educate others, start conversations, raise funds, and help more people discover GAND.
To every individual with GAND, family member, friend, donor, fundraiser, researcher, clinician, teacher, therapist, volunteer, and supporter who participated:

Because of you - throughout September, we have raised nearly $19,000 across fundraisers and merchandise, including our new Shine a Light on GAND t-shirts. These crucial funds help Helping Hands for GAND continue supporting individuals with GAND and their families, advancing important initiatives, and building a stronger future for our community.

GAND Awareness Month may be ending, but our mission continues all year long.
