Autism fundraiser & concert Nov. 8 at ‘Bama

For one special Sunday in November, live music, community generosity and a cause close to the hearts of many Gulf Coast families will come together at the Flora-Bama for the annual Autism Auction benefiting Autism Pensacola.
This year’s event will be held Sunday, November 8, on the Flora-Bama Tent Stage as part of the Frank Brown Songwriters Festival. Doors open at 3 p.m., with music from 4–7 p.m. Admission is a $10 donation.
The theme for this year’s event, “Where Music Meets the Mission,” captures what the afternoon is all about — enjoying the music and spirit of the Gulf Coast while coming together to make a difference.
The Autism Auction has become a tradition built largely through the generosity of local businesses and individuals. Restaurants, attractions, shops, vacation-property owners and other supporters throughout the community donate items and experiences that are transformed into an afternoon of fundraising for Autism Pensacola.
Last year, the event raised approximately $19,000, and organizers hope the community will once again help make this year’s auction a success.
Guests will have the opportunity to bid on a wide variety of silent-auction items while enjoying live music in one of the Gulf Coast’s most iconic venues. This year’s donations include everything from dining and entertainment experiences to unique memorabilia and vacation getaways — including beach and mountain stays valued at thousands of dollars.
Proceeds from the auction support Autism Pensacola, an organization serving individuals with autism and their families throughout the region. For organizers, that mission is what turns an afternoon of music and fun into something much more meaningful.
The auction is coordinated by co-chairs PatsyAnne Stout and Paula Rogers, along with a small team of volunteers and the many businesses and community members who support the event each year.
“We are incredibly grateful for the businesses that continue to say yes when we ask for their support,” Rogers said. “Many of our donors return year after year, and that generosity is what makes this event possible. Every donated item, every bid and every person who walks through the door helps us support the mission of Autism Pensacola.”
The event also provides an opportunity to celebrate local businesses supporting local families, songwriters sharing their music and neighbors coming together for a cause.
Whether you come to bid on a favorite item, discover something unexpected, listen to great music or simply support the mission, everyone is invited to be part of the afternoon.
