There is something specific about Baldwin County that we love. People here still show up. Casseroles still arrive. Strangers still pull over to help. The instinct to take care of your neighbor has not been lost the way it has in some places.
Impact GulfCoast is just one expression of that instinct. We try to do it formally so that when the casserole isn't enough, there is still somewhere to turn.

Summer in Baldwin County is supposed to be the easy season. Kids out of school, beach trips, slower pace. For a family in the middle of a medical crisis, summer is harder. Childcare disappears. Routines collapse. The bills don't pause. If you know a family quietly struggling through what is supposed to be the fun season, send them our way. Impact GulfCoast helps Baldwin County families facing a sudden or acute medical crisis. That usually looks like:
• A new serious diagnosis disrupting income
• A medical emergency creating immediate financial strain
• A short-term inability to work due to illness or treatment
• Stable households knocked sideways by something unexpected

If you encounter a family in the middle of a medical crisis and don't know where to send them, send them to us.
We respond quickly. We don't make families jump through hoops. And 100% of any donation we receive goes directly to the family in need.
