General Public PSA:
Please keep in mind the dogs do not belong on any of the ball fields within the town or city of Groton. There is public areas and a dog park for dogs to run or walk around Groton. Ball fields are areas in which children ages 3 to 16 learn to play and love baseball. Having dogs run loose on fields and have dog f***s on the field hinders this environment for the children. Coaches and families are having to clean up after dogs on an almost daily basis. These ordinances can and will be enforced if necessary.

Groton City: Per Ordinance 198: Except in a dog park established by the City or any private entity, no owner or keeper shall bring any dog onto any public street, sidewalk or any other public
property unless the dog is on a leash or lead that is no more than 25 feet and under the
control of its owner or keeper at all times. No owner or keeper shall allow any dog under his
supervision to dig up, mutilate, deface or destroy any public properties. Cleaning up after
your pet is required.

Groton Town: All pets must be kept under control at all times. Pet f***s must be removed from the park. Pets are prohibited at community events, special events and at certain parks that support sport activities.

Huge shout out to our amazing board and group of volunteers that helped get the fall registration process complete. That being said Gelana McDonald will be diligently working to get all teams assigned to coaches, fields reserved for practices and a game schedule will be here from district before we know it. We have recievd enough registrations to field the following. T-BALL, MINORS COACH PITCH, MINORS PLAYER PITCH, BOTH BASEBALL AND SOFTBALL, MAJORS AND SENIORS FOR FALL. Baseball and softball are alive and well in Groton Little League!!

Hello everyone,

Welcome to fall ball. We will be having a meeting monday night at washington park, unfortunately we were not able to secure an indoor space, so we are gonna do it old school!! Whatever it takes to get the job done. We would like all new players especially with their parents to join us, and any returning players are welcome as well. We will be going over some basic things, handing out contact information, and just getting ready to ramp up the fall season!!

Looking forward to seeing you all there. I would also bring something to drink, non alcoholic please. And maybe chairs, as well

We will be meeting by field 4 the 50/70 field by the pavilion at 6pm.

Only 2 more days to register for Fall Ball. Registration will close tomorrow at midnight. Fall is a great opportunity for kids to learn new skills and play at a different level if they are moving up next year.
