Crawford Road Traffic Update🚨

Attached is an updated map for the Crawford Road detour.

Please remember, there will be strict enforcement for left turns made at the U.S. Highway 377 and Old Justin Road intersection, per town ordinance. Drivers will be ticketed for making a left turn at this intersection.

Please remember, there will be strict enforcement for left turns made at the U.S. Highway 377 and Old Justin Road intersection, per town ordinance. Drivers will be ticketed for making a left turn at this intersection.

Due to construction of the roundabout at John Paine Road and Crawford Road that began on Monday, the following detours have been made in this area:

Between C. Taylor Road and Country Lakes Boulevard – traffic will be limited to West Bound only

Between Country Lakes Boulevard and Highway 377 – traffic flows in both directions

**Update** As a result of our investigation, the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department was able to identify the individual who killed our town turkey and charge him with several offenses. This individual will also be required to pay restitution.

Also, we are aware that some have suggested releasing a new turkey in town. While we too would love to see a town turkey again, we learned that it is illegal to release a turkey into the town without first gaining permission from Texas Parks and Wildlife.

We have taken several reports recently regarding offenses related to vehicles.

As a reminder you should never:

- Leave your vehicle unlocked and unattended
- Leave your vehicle running, even for a short time to go into a store or other location
- Leave the keys in your vehicle (even if it is in your driveway or garage)
- Leave valuable items where they can be seen in your vehicle

Keeping your property safe takes effort from ALL of us.

Town Hall will have dumpsters available to accept rubbish. Also collected will be:

- Household Hazardous Waste - paint, oil, batteries
- Electronic Waste - TVs, Computers, Stereos
- White Goods - water heaters, washer/dryer, freezer (Freon removed)
- On-site document destruction
- Tires - car and light truck tires (max of 4)

Proof of Argyle residency required. Limited to persons living within Argyle municipal limits (Argyle ETJ, Canyon Falls, Harvest, Lantana, etc. do not fall within Argyle municipal limits. See map in photo for boundaries).
