The Greenfield Historical Society was founded on September 10,1973 by a group of Greenfield citizens who had an interest in preserving Greenfield’s long and tumultuous history.

These folks have the right idea! Go to the meeting house July 4th at 8:30 am for the GRAND REOPENING and Ribbon Cutting of the renovated Meeting House! Have some coffee and pastry and see the Amazing Photo exhibit downstairs in the Meeting House. Then listen to the reading of the Declaration of Independence, and watch the PARADE! Then follow the parade to OAK PARK for more 4th of July Celebration!
