It has come to our attention that some have had a negative experience with one of our Saddle Club representatives outside of the organization and Saddle Club events, and fully understand and respect the emotions that go with such experiences.

Our officers, board members and club members work tirelessly and devote their time and energy to attending meetings, work days, and events to provide a place where we can all come together and enjoy what we all love, and we fully support and appreciate their efforts. It takes a village to make this organization work and our village is truly made up of individuals who want the best for our organization. We understand personalities clash, disagreements occur and we can never make everyone happy. But we always strive to be fair, welcoming and inclusive.

The club began 80 years ago with group of individuals who wanted to create something special. Let’s keep the tradition going another 80 years! Our officers are always open to talking to individuals please feel free to reach out at any time!

REMINDER:

To ride on our saddle club grounds on any non-show weekend, you must have an updated membership for the calendar year 2026. These can be purchased at our shows, mailed in, or arrangements can be made through an BSC officer. It is $50 for the membership; members can ride down on the grounds at any time however, there will be no water turned on unless electric is paid for. You can always go down to the creek for water if needed.

Please keep eye on facebook in the next couple weeks, arena will be locked for the regrade before the next show to continue keeping our arena in good working condition!

Thank you all for coming out to our first show of the 2026 season! We couldn’t do this without the amazing volunteers, club members, exhibitors, friends, Officers, board members, cook shack help, family, and spectators.

Please be patient with us on the results they should be posted sometime in the next week ! 

So happy everyone enjoyed the improvements. Arena is currently open & ready to use for current members only! It is a possibility we will be doing more improvements on it so just keep an eye out for any updates. 🐴💙

Contesting day is a start! We have a huge turn out, thank you all for baring with us today as we work out a few kinks. We are volunteer ran saddle club so any time you can help out that would be a big help! 💙🐴

Also we had some fun last night with a water ballon fight, even had a winning team with awards! 🏆

The Putnam County Horse and Pony 4-H Auction is this Saturday if you are looking for something fun to do. The judging team will have a bake sale & the hippology team will have a used tack booth w/ hat bar. Good food and great way to support the 4-H kids!
